The National Association of Dental Laboratories has a relationship with forty three state and regional dental laboratory associations in the United States through a component membership category. It also has component members in other countries outside the U.S.  Component members must be a not for profit incorporated organization and membership is approved by the NADL board of directors.

One of the keys to a strong and vibrant dental technology profession and dental laboratory industry is the success of component member organizations. Hundreds of individuals around the country serve as volunteer leaders for these organizations.
