The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology was initially funded by a generous $200,000 contribution from the National Association of Dental Laboratories. Because NADL believes that the future of Dental Laboratory Technology is a responsibility that NADL shares with those professionals in the industry, NADL will maintain a close relationship with The Foundation.

It is envisioned that in order for The Foundation to meet its objectives, a concise business and strategic plan must be developed early in the first year. It is also anticipated that a fundraising campaign must be ongoing to fund the development and delivery of the web-based education that The Foundation will commit to.
