Dentsply Sirona’s cloud platform, DS Core, to replace the Connect Case Center in most countries by November 2025
Dentsply Sirona is set to replace its Connect Case Center (CCC) with its innovative cloud-based platform DS Core, which connects dental practices and labs, and supports them throughout their daily workflows by providing tools that support practice growth, enhance workflow efficiency and elevate patient outcome and experience. Introduced in 2010, the CCC was designed for transferring intraoral scans and facilitating lab orders. However, as the dental industry evolves, so too must the tools that support it. Artex Print&Click: Effortless articulation of 3D-printed models
With Artex Print&Click, Amann Girrbach presents an innovative articulation system for 3D-printed models in the Artex articulator. Thanks to an intelligent click-magnet system, models can be mounted without plaster, without tools and in a seamless, precise process - making everyday laboratory work considerably easier. Many dental laboratories today receive digital impressions and print models for control purposes - a simple solution for fast, plaster-free transfer of the printed models to the physical articulator has, until now, been unavailable. With Artex Print&Click, the model is printed with a special basal support for the model base plate. It is then fixed to the base plate using magnetic force and precisely positioned in the articulator using spacer plates – resulting in significant time savings in the workflow. This versatility and openness make Artex Print&Click a simple and user-friendly tool for dental laboratories that value accurate and reproducible transfer between digital and physical articulation.
